....nae running! So much for the plans and the blog. Hey I'm a busy girl okay I have things to do, places to go, people to see: I don't have time for this!
Except I have, I have loads of time to blog because running is strictly off the cards at the moment due to injury woes. So what's up? I wish I knew. It started in my hip causing me to pull out of Carnethy hill race after 4 of the 5 hills (my gammy hip was never getting up Carnethy and most definitely not getting down) and hitch a lift back in an ambulance. I stupidly did 3 races last Saturday which was enormous fun but has set me back further than last place and I've officially pulled out of the D33.
And the Fling, oh yes the unfinished business I spoke so determinedly of. Well that's looking unlikely too. Still, 7 weeks left to train and recover. Yeah, it's doable....let's see eh?

Of course it's do-able.
ReplyDeleteI used to have hip issue, but a few weeks of yoga (well, I did a body balance class) sorted it.

7wks, loadsa time. take it easy, seems like you've had a lot of non-running stuff on your plate. i'll see you on the start line-just don't do anymore '3ers' in the mean time!
